Oh Since Last We Met

Greetings Gods and Goddesses,

I have missed so much! I need to tell you so many things. Life collects a lot of memories in such a short amount of time. Where do I begin? I am somewhat disappointed at the result of the Dream Assignment. Many people told me that they were having a rough time trying to log on to vote for me. I am not sure what the meaning of that was but... I do thank those who both tried and who actually got through. The Dream is still alive we will just need alternative means in which to live it out. Life still continues! There are many more projects coming up the hill.

The Women Artists/ Women Healing panel and exhibition was DOPE! I also got some good shots that I will be posting SOON! (by the by... my computer crashed and I am on borrowed computers here and there so... soon... soon) I am making moves to cohesively compile all of the social networks that I am networked with, into ONE hub of networking. I am determined to keep up and keep in contact! So... yes you can follow me on twitter... www.twitter.com/sondaiexpress I am on facebook, myspace and an officer of the ning http://theartofphotography.ning.com I also belong to:

NYC +
So the NYC trip was GREAT lunch with the ladies of Zenzele was much needed and time with T. Rose was inspiring! The Brooklyn Photography Salon was inspiring as well! Jeanne Moutoussamy-Ashe was the perfect finale to my weekend trip. She started a conversation on visual literacy in young people which I thought was wonderful. I truly believe our young people do not know just how to decipher all that they see so in turn they are creating a definition themselves. Which is of course inevitable. Adaptation is human's strongest trait and our young people are no exception. I am excited to have some of my students jump on board in the creation of Pop Art. They are excited about it as well and they keep at it mistakes are corrected and they keep going. I believe we will have a good body of work to show soon.

CentroNia's Saturday Arts Academy
"Time keeps on slippin'  into the future..." May is almost here and my girls are working on their portraits/triptychs for our final show and garden party. I do wish we had more time to cover more topics and go more places to shoot. Young budding photographers are wonderful to see.

Well that is a tidbit of my Goddess world right now. I will have visual aids to come soon. *sigh*
